| From writing, directing and acting in their own movies to learning a different magic trick every day, campers can look forward to an action packed summer. In addition, campers participate in a wide variety of theatre activities—including improvisation, scene study, storytelling, creative writing, group singing, and mime—all taught by caring artists and teachers dedicated to meeting each child at his or her level. Classes emphasize drama games and exercises designed to increase spontaneity, engage the imagination, promote self-confidence, and encourage ensemble spirit. All 4 and 8 week campers participate in a stage production for family and friends. Our campers are also treated to performances from professional actors, magicians, jugglers and musicians. Weekly activities include field trips to local attractions, special events, theme days, pottery, outdoor activities and more! 2012 PERFORMANCE DATES ARE JUNE 29 AND AUGUST 10. |
